La mobilisation des fans sur les réseaux sociaux (avec la campagne #SaveLucifer) et des acteurs auprès de différents producteurs depuis l’annulation de Lucifer par la FOX a porté ses fruits : la série vient d’être sauvée par Netflix et obtient donc une quatrième saison.
Netflix a ainsi passé un accord avec la Warner Bros. Company et offrira une nouvelle saison de dix épisodes à la série. Les acteurs de la série ont réagi à cette nouvelle sur les réseaux sociaux, en profitant pour remercier toute la communauté de fans qui a soutenu la série :
